Margaret Edwartowski wears a LOT of hats. By day she is a non-profit executive overseeing arts programs for youth, and in her free time she is a wife, mom, author, playwright, teacher, and occasional actor. For fifteen years, she performed, wrote, taught, and directed with The Second City in Detroit, Cleveland, and on Norwegian Cruise Lines. As a playwright, she’s had four full-length plays, a jukebox musical, and four one acts produced. She won a Wilde Award (Detroit theatre award) for best new script in 2013 as well as winning audience awards at the Gay Play Series (GPS) at the Ringwald Theatre and BoxFest Detroit. Her novel (as Maggie Eliot), Lark Lake Lodge was a finalist in the Mid-Michigan Best Banter Contest, the Big Apple Contest, and the Put Your Heart in a Book Contest in 2021. In the same year, she was selected as a mentee in Romance Writers of America's RAMP mentoring program, having the great fortune to work closely with New York Times bestselling author, Annika Martin. She is the host of the live stream show, Hey Gurl.
